This costume was my very first sewing venture. The pandemic hit and I invested in a sewing machine to keep myself busy and teach myself a new skill during lock down. My goal was to complete my first homemade costume before Halloween so I could go trick or treating. I am a strong believer that anyone (even 22 year olds) can trick or treat as long as they are in costume. I have always been intrigued by clowns because of the fun costumes and makeup so I decided a clown suit would be a perfect first project. I used an old Simplicity clown costume pattern to make this costume.
